Blazer Jobs is interviewing Occupational Therapists (OTs) for full-time, school-based positions with a local district in Wyoming, Delaware, for the 20252026 school year. About the Role
As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, youll work directly with students, educators, and families to evaluate needs, deliver targeted interventions, and foster an inclusive learning environment. You will play a vital role in promoting skill development that supports academic engagement, participation, and daily routines.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEPs

Provide direct and consultative OT services in individual and small-group settings

Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to integrate occupational therapy strategies into classroom activities

Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports in accordance with IDEA and state regulations

Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and professional development opportunities
-
Educate staff and parents on techniques that support fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skill growth

Support district initiatives and inclusion programs through professional collaboration
Qualifications & Requirements

Active Delaware Occupational Therapy License (or eligibility for licensure)

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or related field

NBCOT certification required

School-based or pediatric experience preferred

Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
